Other Projects

This page currently contains some other projects I have enjoyed working on. My published research can be found on the Publications page.

Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) Intersection Navigation Integration

During my undergrad, I spent 4 years on the EcoCAR Mobility Challenge. Most prominently, I led the integration of an industry-grade V2X controller into an ADAS system for a Chevrolet Blazer.

MacCity: A 1/10th-scale testbed

Since 2021, I have built and maintained the infrastructure for a 1/10th-scale testbed for ADS development, which is used as a platform for research and development. The F1TENTH platform has been the testbed for my most recent publication and numerous other projects, including Lane Centering, and Cooperative Adaptive Cruise Control.

Path Planning on SE(2) for Autonomous Vehicles

During my graduate coursework, I took a course called “Group Theory for Optimization and Machine Learning” taught by Prof. Matthew Giamou at McMaster University.
My final project focused on Path Planning for Autonomous Vehicles using RRT* and group-theoretic concepts.

Infrastructure-based State Estimation for Autonomous Vehicles

For my final project in “Parameter and State Estimation” taught by Prof. Thia Kirubarajan at McMaster University, I implemented an infrastructure-based state estimation algorithm for autonomous vehicles using Kalman Filters.
